Zhengzhou Association of Science and Technology, Metallurgical Equipment Branch of The Chinese Society for Metals, Urban Public Traffic Branch of China Civil Engineering Society, Wind Machinery Branch of Chinese Society for Agricultural Machinery, co-hosted and Zhengzhou Autol Technology, and Lubmann GmbH (Germany) co-organized The Second International Forum of Mechanical Lubrication and Equipment Health Management on 15 and 16 August, 2017, under the guidance from Service Center for Enterprise Innovation of China Association for Science and Technology, Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Henan Association for Science and Technology, and The People’s Government of Zhengzhou. Wu Cheng, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Qiao Yun, deputy director of China Association for Science and Technology, Huo Jinhua, Chairman of Henan Association of Science and Technology, Shi Zhanyong, deputy mayor of The People’s Government of Zhengzhou, Lu Daming, vice president of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Song Shiji, professor in department of automation of Tsinghua University, Hang Weifeng, doctor of department of machinery of Tsinghua University, Jan-Dirk Gerken from friction department of Clausthal University (German), Austin AdamO’Kelley, director of Machinery Lubrication Magazine (USA), Frank Reichmann from BECHEM, Shi Jinfa, vice president of North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power, Zhang Fuqing, secretary of Communist Party of Zhengzhou Association of Science and Technology attended the forum. More than 500 people, including leaders and experts in related fields, representatives of various companies, and ones from the trade media were present at the forum. Wu Yuhong, president of Zhengzhou Association of Science and Technology chaired the opening ceremony of the forum.

Shi Zhanyong, deputy mayor of the People’s Government of Zhengzhou, made a speech. He started with full credit to the forum, and spoke highly of the major contributions to the economic development of Zhengzhou by centralized lubrication industry. He hoped that each company from the field of lubrication would have thorough discussions through the forum, present their valuable suggestions for the development of Zhengzhou, and expressed his sincerity in welcoming innovations and setup of businesses by various companies.

Wu Cheng, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, made a brief introduction to AUTOL’s advantages on centralized lubrication and equipment management, and provided 2 suggestions for its development in future. He pointed out that there were 5 shortages in domestic manufacturing industry in Made in China 2025. AUTOL, however, identified the key among all the issues, and kept on being “specialized, fine and unique”. It was highly recognized by small and medium-sized companies in the filed of lubrication both at home and abroad for its innovations, and AUTOL shall continue to improve its main business, and focus on artificial intelligence studies.

The meeting did not only attract authoritative leaders and experts at home, but also the ones from manufacturing powers, such as Germany and America, who brought cutting-edge ideas, technologies and management experience.
